As mentioned above, Kyle teaches "Magic 101". Based on the same magic class Kyle took when he was 5 years old, "Magic 101" contains everything young aspiring magicians need to know about getting into the hobby of magic. Kyle runs through the core values, and the general concept of what the art of magic really stands for. Each student will take away a plethora of material and knowledge that can be seen as the seed. And without a doubt, the students will allow that seed to grow and evolve into the wonderful art of magic of their own. As well as teaching them tricks of the trade, everyone gets to take home a few effects to show their family and friends. Kyle also teaches an advanced class, to various students of various skills. One on one or in groups. He trains these individuals to perform their own shows and make their hobby into a success.
About The Classes

Magic 101 - Introduction To Magic (50 minutes)

This class is based off of the very first lesson Kyle ever received back in 1996. The material covered explains a brief history of magic, as well as basic techniques used in a working magician’s everyday life.

Students take home a plethora of resources including:
  • A 25 page booklet containing over 30 easy to perform effects
  • “Jack The Joker” handmade card trick with instructions
  • Membership to an exclusive online magic group hosted by Kyle Key
  • Links to videos and online resources covered in class

    • But no secrets are revealed until students take the official “Magician’s Secrecy Oath”! Then it’s down to business as the class and Kyle work through the booklet and cover the basics of magic, and learn about a day in the life of a working magician. Also packed with trivia, prizes, and multimedia this class is sure to leave a lasting impression and a fantastic learning experience.


    Magic 101 - Intermediate Techniques (60 minutes)

    After completing Kyle’s “Introduction To Magic” course, students are ready to dive to a new depth with their newfound hobby. The class discusses the processes involved in taking their hobby to the next level. More advanced tricks are covered and students get an exclusive look at the theory of magic. By analyzing the psychology of the performer and more importantly, the audience, students learn the fundamentals about performing in front of a live audience.

    Students are also able to access an online forum where they can chat and pick the brains of professional magicians working around the globe. Each student will also get a certificate of completion from “Kyle Key The Magician’s Magic School” to hang on their wall!

    Magic 101 - Conjurers Workshop (120 minutes)

    Including both “Introduction To Magic” & “Intermediate Techniques”, this workshop is a hands on learning experience for all. Students get one on one consultation and assistance. They also get to choose one of the tricks they learned and perform it in front of their first live audience! Students take turns and put on a mini magic show for either fellow classmates or another group in the facility.

    Students of the “Conjurers Workshop” will receive:
  • Conjurers Workshop booklet covering over 50 effects
  • Links to videos and books covered in the class
  • Signed certificate of completion
  • “Jack The Joker” handmade card trick with instructions
  • Membership to a secret online magic group hosted by Kyle Key

    Stage Magic Show (45 minutes)

    A perfect prequel to either the “Conjurers Workshop” or one of the classes. Kyle Key will perform his award winning corporate comedy show jam packed with audience participation, comedy, and a truly unique routine for audiences from 10-2,000 people. Depending on audience size, Kyle can perform either in a classroom or a gymnasium. Kyle’s all original escape act is a perfect finale and will be sure to have the audience laughing for days.

    • Fighting Drugs with Magic?


    Internationally acclaimed magician and former D.A.R.E. graduate, Kyle Key, has been warning kids against the use of drugs since he started doing public shows in 2000. Now Kyle has found a new way of fighting the battle. He has combined 2 things that he loves, helping kids say no to drugs, and performing magic.
    Kyle has been a special guest at D.A.R.E. programs for 2 years now with his drug prevention themed show.

    The Show
    Kyle has specially designed a 30 minute magic show themed around drug prevention and education. In the show, Kyle discusses the pointlessness of even trying drugs for the first time. He will highlight on the teaching and studies of the D.A.R.E. program. A perfect special treat for any drug awareness session.
    The show focuses on the seriousness of what happens when one uses drugs, but still has the amazement of the art of magic.

    Rates
    Because of the nature of the D.A.R.E. program, Kyle has reduced his standard rate by 60%. Prices may vary by location of schools and institutions.
